Gürkan Soykan

Gürkan Soykan is a PhD candidate at WUR specializing in the development of adaptive digital twins for precision agriculture. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Koç University, Türkiye, Gürkan has extensive experience in AI research, including multimodal, supervised, and unsupervised learning, as well as natural language processing. He also holds a double major in Computer Science & Engineering and Materials Science & Nano Engineering from Sabanci University, Türkiye. At GGLab, Gürkan worked on linguistically motivated instruction tuning to improve the multilingual skills of large language models.
